I consider that a society is enriched by the work and the contribution of all of its members. The desire to make a contribution from my experience, has led me to start the Amancio Ortega Foundation. The experiences which have made me grow as a person, as a businessman and as a citizen, are based on a number of principles which I consider to be especially valuable, such as: Solidarity, Understanding, Commitment, Hard Work, Genuineness and Loyalty. It is my simple and genuine desire that, through the strategies and activities of the Foundation, the fruit of my lifetime’s personal and professional experience, should reach those members of society who are in special need, of being accompanied and encouraged.
